How do you like your chicken sandwich? Some like it simple, while others enjoy it saucy. Others prefer them spicy, but one thing is for sure, we all like our chicken sandwich crispy! Birdcall, the all-natural chicken chain, is offering a new chicken sandwich addition, which is a mix of all three.
Get ready as Birdcall recently launched the new Southwest-inspired Chili Verde chicken sandwich. This limited-edition crispy bite features Birdcall’s all-natural crispy chicken smothered in green sauce, green chile mayo, and pepper-jack cheese. The filling is all sandwiched in a brioche bun.
Now, who’s this chef who created this spicy chicken sandwich? None other than Amador Acosta, the chain’s acclaimed chef and Birdcall’s VP of Culinary Innovation. The chicken sandwich is packed with the right spices to offer a unique kick compared to their other chicken sandwiches, which are mild.
If you remember, Birdcall is releasing a series of chicken sandwiches monthly called Birdcall Presents. The Chili Verde just happens to be the latest of Birdcall Project, which means that every $1 spent goes to a non-profit Colorado Farm to Table this August.
The Chile Verde is priced at $9.50 and is available at all Birdcall locations from August 7 to August 31, 2024. You can choose to order them in-store, online, and drive-thru.
What’s The Buzz Around Birdcall?
Birdcall is best known for serving chicken sandwiches and they are doing just that! During the first week of August, they launched their back-to-school value special offers, which comprise of, you’ve got that right, three chicken sandwiches. From Kids Meal to Rancher Chicken Sandwich, there’s something for everyone! The promo ran from August 5 to 14, 2024. They also created a back-to-school giveaway where the entire school could win a free chicken sandwich just by nominating their schools in the chain’s social media accounts.
In June 2023, Birdcall also introduced the Birdcall Presents, where they got to offer a limited-time chicken sandwich on their menu just for the month. It’s actually the same as IHOP’s Pancake of the Month but in chicken sandwich form! This proves that the chain is innovating in chicken sandwiches, and they could offer guests by mixing both local and foreign flavors on their chicken.

Birdcall’s Chilli Verde is something that I would order since I prefer my chicken sandwich with lots of sauce and a little spice in every bite. Also, I’m amazed at its Birdcall Presents line, as it’s not easy to create a new flavor every month! I have to say, Birdcall is playing their cards right with their flavor of the month stir. Who knows, they could invent something new.
