A new Brisket is coming in town, and this time, it’s from Burger King!
We all know that Arby’s is the quick go-to place when you crave a good brisket. But this summer, Burger King is another option as they serve a new era of their Whopper sandwich. Introducing the BBQ Brisket Whopper, a smoky and savory twist on the flame-grilled classic.
The BBQ Brisket Whopper features a slow-cooked BBQ brisket with crispy onions, American cheese, and sweet & golden BBQ sauce piled on a ¼ lb. flame-grilled patty. There’s also your usual Whopper filling of lettuce, tomato, and creamy mayo. But that’s not all the exciting news, as for the first time, Burger King is offering their new Whopper innovation as a Whopper Jr. It has the same ingredients since it’s made for Whopper fans seeking a smaller version.

The new BBQ Brisket Whopper is inspired by what Whopper fanatics from across the country are asking for. With this, Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer of Burger King US&C, said that they’re letting guests tell them what they want with the brand’s Have It Your Way line. This summer, Burger King is kicking off the ‘Whopper by You’ platform with their BBQ Brisket Whopper as their flavor profile.
The ‘Whopper by You’ platform aims to empower their guests to help shape the Burger King menu through submitting their dream Whopper creations. You can mash up anything if you want it spicy, cheesy, or over-the-top. You can redeem a special Royal Perks offer assigned at random through your first’ Whopper by You’ creation. It ranges from $0.01 Whopper sandwich every week for a year to free hamburgers, cheeseburgers, or Whopper Jr. sandwiches with a purchase, and more.
Mark your calendars, as starting July 15, you can share your dream Whopper at BK.com/WBY. Who knows? Burger King’s next big thing might come from your idea.

From The Club
As much as I’m excited about the release of Burger King’s BBQ Brisket Whopper, I wish an actual Brisket sandwich were available at the chain. I love eating a good brisket sandwich and often frequent the chain, so it’s nice if they would have it. Still, I’m happy with the idea of this Whopper innovation, and I appreciate Burger King listening to what their fans want as they let them create what they desire. Good job, Burger King!
