Mark Kupferman, Executive Vice President of Chuck E. Cheese, said they’ve heard that families cut off special occasions due to rising costs. He added that Chuck E. Cheese believes every child deserves a memorable birthday party, regardless of economic condition.
A recent survey conducted by Chuck E. Cheese and RepData, reveals that the average cost of an outside kid’s birthday party is estimated to be around $340. Third of the respondents said they held their kid’s birthday party at home or a local park. 70% said that they decided to do so, while 77% said that they chose to stay home to save money. However, 10% said that they didn’t get to celebrate at all due to financial constraints.
