20 Years Of Celebrating Efforts and Accomplishments
While the world is developing different digital wonders, Grubhub has been doing their own by offering a paperless menu through digital alternative platforms. Matt Maloney and Mike Evans scratched the idea of a unique, seamless experience until they formed Grubhub. Today, it has become the country’s number one digital delivery restaurant to doorstep service.

Howard Migdal, Chief Executive Officer of Grubhub, said that all of these accomplishments would not be possible without the efforts of those who helped them build the company, such as their merchant partners, restaurant partners, couriers, diners, and employees. Each year is an improved delivery experience for Grubhub, surpassing every new venture challenge that comes their way.
As a way of expressing their gratitude, Grubhub will keep the 20 Years of Deals anniversary festivities going through the next few months. Keep an eye out for the variety of activities:
- Chicago City Council Resolution – The Chicago City Council is expected to honor Grabhub with a resolution regarding their significant contribution to the local economy scene.
- Driver Community Grant Program – Starting in August, Grubhub will launch this program to help their top delivery partners support nonprofit organizations in their community.
- Chicago Food Fest – To celebrate the company’s hometown food scene in September, Grubhub will celebrate small independent restaurants and local businesses through a food festival. They also plan to treat Grubhub customers with a free lunch experience. This food festival is the perfect time to dine at your favorite local restaurants. Grubhub aims to attract new diners to these small business restaurants.
- Employee Giving Campaign – This fall, Grubhub will involve their employees in giving back to the community by supporting charitable nonprofits on the company’s impact focus areas, such as ending the hunger gap, supporting small restaurants, and creating opportunities for people in the hospitality industry. The new grant program will use the Grubhub community fund for charitable causes.

From The Club
Grubhub is that one big high-value company that I can proudly support because aside from innovative restaurant technology, they are always ready to help communities close to their heart, such as the hospitality industry, food delivery industry, and small businesses. I love how they involve their employees in giveback programs, never failing to spread hope to others. I wish on Grubhub’s future milestone, and I hope they continue their great work.
