- From 2:00 p.m. to 3 p.m., a unique event is taking place with the Buffalo Wing Festival wing bobbing qualifier, where participants will compete in a 10-gallon blue cheese tub.
- Plus, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests can participate in a Buffalo Thunderbird Cruise Night Fundraiser Kickoff, featuring Classic Wings for only $1 each, with a limit of 10 wings per order. For each $10 spent on wings, Checkers will donate $1 to Feed More WNY.
Gail Gentry, the franchise co-owner of Checkers in Buffalo, NY, reflects on the past decade, stating, “Ten years fly by when you’re having fun! It feels like yesterday when my brother Bill and I opened this location.” He also shared that they’re offering their chicken wings for only 10 cents as a representation of their 10-year stay at Buffalo, and as giving back to the NY community who’s always been good to them.
