Chick-fil-A proves that summer is the perfect season to “Eat Mor Chikin.”
Before July ended, we shared the news that Chick-fil-A is bringing back one of its fan-favorite sandwiches, but it seems like this fast food giant still has one more surprise before the release. The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich is back due to popular demand, but along with its return, fans can customize it even further.
Chick-fil-A is introducing a Spicy Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich nationwide starting August 26, and it’s available for a limited time. This sandwich is a spicy version of the previously released Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, has become Chick-fil-A best-selling seasonal item since its debut last year.
The sandwich features a chicken filet with drizzle of honey, pimento cheese toppings, and mild pickled jalapeños, and now, it can also be ordered with a spicy filet. Chick-fil-A chef Stuart Tracy shared excitement over the demand for a spicy option, and said the original sandwich received positive comments and inspired customers to create their own spicy twists.
In addition to this new spicy sandwich, Chick-fil-A is also bringing back its Banana Pudding Milkshake after a 13-year break. Yep, that’s more than a decade gap since it was first introduced in 2011. The Banana Pudding milkshake is crafted from the brand’s Icedream dessert blended with bananas and crumbled vanilla wafer cookies, finished with whipped cream and a cherry on top.
But that’s not all, Chick-fil-A is also launching a new drink called Banana Frosted Coffee, which combines cold-brewed coffee with Icedream, bananas, and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles. This new product launch taps into the growing customer demand for cold-brew coffee, and is expected to expand by 22% per year, for the next five years.
