While I don’t mind taking a bite of the Thanksgiving turkey, sometimes you just want a simple meal to reward yourself for a job well done. It’s a good thing that Wendy’s and Dutch Bros are bringing you fresh new items straight from their menu.
If you plan to lounge around, here are some new releases from your favorite fast-food restaurants.
Wendy’s
Wendy’s is bringing on their house of flavors this season with brand new menu innovations. This November 12, 2024 (Tuesday), Wendy’s will drop the nationwide release of their new menu offerings. Fans can now cozy up while tasting some familiar favorites such as burgers with mushrooms or some spicy taco salad. Let’s check out the three more new menu items before they earn a spot on Wendy’s menu:
- Salted Caramel Frosty – Our favorite Frosty is getting a makeover with a new flavor. The Salted Caramel Frosty features a salty caramel taste that is balanced with Wendy’s signature Frosty treat. Don’t miss out and get this treat while they’re still freezing at Wendy’s.
- Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger – Wendy’s sure has a ton of limited-time burgers on their plate, and this is one of them. This Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger features roasted mushrooms, crispy bacon, Muenster cheese, and creamy garlic spread that is stacked up on Wendy’s fresh and never-frozen beef patty. You need to put this cheeseburger on your list, as its roasted mushrooms are enough to give off a smokey taste, making it one of the most unique cheeseburgers out there.
- Taco Salad – Aside from their burgers, Wendy’s is one of the fast food chains known for their bomb salads. This iconic salad that fans know and love features a creamy, zesty salsa dressing, fire-roasted corn, some crispy tortilla strips, and, of course, a generous amount of Wendy’s famous Chili.
What’s Next For Wendy’s
The new releases for holidays look promising but we’re actually here for more. From the looks of it, Wendy’s is trying to bring in new flavors of their Frosty. This year, they have brought the Triple Berry Frosty, which unfortunately got bad reviews from fans saying that it tastes like medicine.
With that, Wendy’s re-released the classic Vanilla Frosty, which became the base of the Pineapple Under The Sea Frosty, the chain’s Frosty treat for their collaboration with Spongebob Squarepants. It featured Spongebob’s iconic pineapple house with swings of Mango Pineapple puree.
Speaking of Frosty, Wendy’s has been expanding their flavors worldwide, and hopefully, they will drop some of these exciting flavors at their USA locations:
- Chocolate Covered Pretzel Frosty – Released in Trinidad and Tobago
- White Chocolate Strawberry – Released in a few countries
- Mango Tajin Frosty – Released in a few countries
- Mango Crumble – Released in a few countries
- Frozen Hot Chocolate Frosty – Released in the United Kingdom

Dutch Bros
Here at Dutch Bros, we’re celebrating Winter Wonderland with the release of their Christmas special drinks. Do you hear the sleighbells ringing now that we’re nearing the holidays? This season, Dutch Bros is making us relive the spirit of Christmas with a new trio. They’re uniquely flavored, making them one of the must-try drinks of the season.
Choose your pick from any of this trio:
- Hazelnut Truffle Mocha – Who here likes a good hot chocolate in winter? Here at Dutch Bros, they tried to take inspiration from it by serving them frozen. It features a hazelnut mocha-flavored drink with a Soft Top on top and a light caramel drizzle.
- Candy Cane Mocha – Candy cane and mocha flavor? Why not! Dutch Bros, with their unique creations, have decided to release this flavor. It features a peppermint mocha base with a serving of Soft Top on top. The drink is covered with candy cane sprinkles.
- Winter Shimmer Rebel – If you’re in need of extra energy to kickstart your day, then Dutch Bros offers you their Winter Shimmer Rebel, featuring the base of Rebel energy drink. It offers a festive twist on the drink by blending blue raspberry and sweet cream with Soft Top. The drink is finished off with shimmer sprinkles on top.
Tana Davila, Chief Marketing Officer of Dutch Bros, said that this year’s holiday drinks trio captures the classics of Hazelnut Truffle and Candy Cane flavors. Davila added that Dutch Bros is about getting creative and innovative with their flavors, which is why they’re excited to introduce the Winter Shimmer Rebel to their customers as a unique seasonal drink to try.
What’s even more exciting is that each drink is served in one of six festive cup designs, including one for your kids and family dogs! These cups make the perfect cups for celebrating the season with their snowflakes, candy canes, ornaments, and winter designs.

I’m looking forward to trying Wendy’s Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger, but I’ve got to be honest: I don’t like eating mushrooms. I just like the idea of crispy bacon in a cheeseburger. 🤣 As for the drinks, I want to try Dutch Bros’ Winter Shimmer Rebel as someone who’s always on the hunt for energy drinks.
