McDonald’s is finally bringing back one of their best desserts perfect for the fall!
As we approach the fall season, we keep getting more and more seasonal drops from all our favorite fast-food chains. After the summer, it seems like everyone is racing to build hype for their latest releases carefully tailored for the season. We’ve seen heavy hitters like Starbucks and Dunkin’ announce their much-anticipated lineup for the fall. While we’re waiting one everyone else, McDonald’s took the opportunity and brought back a delicious dessert.
McDonald’s just announced that they’re reintroducing one of their best fall desserts of all time with the return of their Pumpkin and Creme Pie. It was first released back in 2011 and became a huge hit among their fans. Take one bite of the Pumpkin and Creme Pie and you’ll understand why this became a favorite recurring seasonal item. This dessert is packed with both spiced pumpkin filling and sweet cream filling. It’s all loaded inside McDonald’s signature pie crust whose flavor perfectly complements the filling. Overall, it’s quite literally the embodiment of the perfect dessert that captures the feelings of autumn.
If you’re excited about trying this dessert, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that it’s now available at McDonald’s. The bad news is that it hasn’t had a nationwide release. The Pumpkin Creme Pie is only available at certain McDonald’s locations, but you can check your McDonald’s app to see if it’s available on your area. But don’t lose hope! This is a big seasonal item, and the full nationwide rollout might take a few weeks.
Everyone is understandably excited about this classic dessert. With so much hype and buzz around it, people are lining up to their local McDonald’s just to give it a try. Salted Caramel and Chocolate Pie
This has to be one of the most indulgent pies McDonald’s has ever made. Salted Caramel and Chocolate Pie combines the rich flavor of chocolate and the creamy sweetness of caramel plus the signature deep-fried crust of McDonald’s pie. It was first dropped in 2017 at McDonald’s Malaysia and has only seen limited releases in countries in Southeast Asia like Singapore and Thailand.
Oreo Cookies and Cream Pie
Looks like McDonald’s Malaysia really has it good. Just last year, they had released the Oreo Cookies and cream Pie. It’s made with real Oreo cookies infused in the crispy chocolate crust. It has a creamy filling with bits and pieces of Oreo cookies. The contrast between the crunchy crust really pairs well with the smooth texture of the filling. This is hands down one of the best desserts to ever come out of McDonald’s. This did get a U.S. release before, but we still hope it would reach more countries around the world.

McDonald’s is finally dropping their first seasonal item for the fall. The Pumpkin and Creme Pie is a recurring favorite for a reason. I mean it really captures that cozy feeling of eating pumpkin flavored food during the fall. Not to mention, it’s one of the best pies that McDonald’s has ever released. If anything, this makes me more excited for what’s potentially to come. Once the season is in full swing, maybe we’ll get to see other pumpkin flavored treats return from McDonald’s like the Pumpkin Spice McFlurry.
