Get ready to score a touchdown with Culver’s latest meal with a former NFL superstar!
Sports and fast food chains often go hand in hand. Not necessarily in nutrition but fast food often make great snacks to munch on while watching your favorite team play. We’d see star athletes collaborate with some fast food chains to come up with a new item or some pretty awesome deals. This summer, we’re getting a new one from Culver’s and they’re bringing along one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history.
Culver’s is teaming up with former NFL star JJ Watt to launch the new JJ’s Way Meal which will be available starting on August 5, 2024. JJ is actually a big fan of Culver’s so this collaboration makes a lot of sense and is a win-win for both sides. The new JJ’s Way Meal is inspired by his favorite order and it includes a Culver’s Deluxe, a side of Wisconsin Cheese Curds, Culver’s signature root beer, and a Turtle Sundae made with chocolate fresh frozen custard. Sounds like a meal fit for an NFL player.
Not only will we get to try JJ Watt’s favorite meal, we’ll also be giving back to the community if we choose to order JJ’s Way Meal. JJ Watt has been very active in philanthropy and charity works when he’s not on the field. He even has his own foundation that aims to improve after-school sports programs in middle schools across the country. So to show support for the community, Culver’s will donate $1 to the JJ Watt Foundation for each JJ’s Way Meal sold, up to $100,000.

Culver’s has been having a pretty good year. They recently celebrated their 40th anniversary and even dropped some returning fan-favorites on their menu for the summer. So if you’re wondering what’s new at Culver’s, here are their latest menu items.
Berry Happy Birthday Concrete Mixer
We mentioned that Culver’s recently celebrated their 40th anniversary. As part of the celebration, they had a ton of freebies, deals, and even had a $40,000 sweepstakes giveaway. But one of the best things to come out of their celebration has to be the Berry Happy Birthday Concrete Mixer. It’s a new limited time treat that puts a new spin on their classic dessert. It combines Vanilla Fresh Frozen Custard with blueberries, freeze-dried blueberries, whipped cream, and a birthday cake pop on top. You should give this a try while it’s still on their menu.
Thick-Cut Bacon
Here’s a pretty underrated move by Culver’s. While it’s more of an add-on rather than an actual entrée, the Thick Cut Bacon is still a really great addition to their menu. Bacon is a great fix-in since it adds another layer of flavor and crunch that can really elevate your burger experience. Last April, Culver’s finally rolled out their new Thick-Cut Bacon which perfectly captures that balance between wee, smoky, and savory. It can be added to any of their burgers and the best part is that it’s a permanent addition. So, no rush on trying this and you can enjoy it for as long as you want.

JJ Watt is one of my favorite NFL players of all time right next to Michael Vick and Patrick Mahomes. While those two are great on offense, JJ Watt made a living as a Defensive End. Standing at a hulking 6-foot-5 and weighing 288 pounds, you just know that a player of his size and caliber had a pretty massive appetite. And now, we get a glimpse of one of his favorite go-to fast food meals thanks to this collaboration with Culver’s. It’s a great meal for sure but what makes it even better is the fact that you get to contribute a portion of what you spent to a charitable foundation. Now that’s how you know that this is a great deal.
