Out of all Tex-Mex restaurants, Taco Bell carries the title with the most items released this year. And they’re not finished yet.
2024 is not yet over, but Taco Bell has impressed us with their new and returning menu items. From their Cheez-It collaboration to Baja Blast items (Gelato, Twists, and Baja Blast Pie), to welcoming back the return of the Street Chalupas, Taco Bell hasn’t stopped making us crave. We’ve collated all the viral items the Tex-Mex giant has teased, so you’ll know which food item to look forward to. Here’s a list of Taco Bell’s latest tricks and treats, as well as each rumored release date.
Aside from Taco Bell’s ongoing test items we’ve written about, here are other latest items set to hit their menu in the next few months. Take out your list and pick your next Taco Bell favorite:
Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries
Rumored to make a comeback on September 12, Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries are seasoned with bold, Mexican spices and served with a side of warm nacho cheese sauce. Nacho Fries are a classic crowd favorite but unfortunately, Taco Bell hasn’t made it a permanent part of their menu. We hope they will listen to the fans’ pleas and make it a reality.

Taco Bell’s Cheez-it Tostada and Disha Hot Sauce
Starting September 26, 2024, Taco Bell will welcome their latest cheesy item back, the Cheeze-It Crunchwrap. This features a real Cheeze-It cracker 16 times bigger than its normal size. This huge cracker goes into a folded tortilla with seasoned beef, nacho cheese, and other Crunchwrap fixings. Meanwhile, the Disha Hot Sauce will also be launched on the same day, and will be offered in packets. It’s a fiery sauce with a combination of distilled white vinegar, red onion, tomato & tomatillo, lime juice, habanero, jalapeńo, cilantro, garlic and salt, chia seeds, and toasted chile de arbol.

Taco Bell’s Chicken Nuggets and Bell Sauce
Set to be launched around December 19, Taco Bell will be rolling out its new chicken nuggets in all of its locations nationwide. Of course, it will be released along with their special, the Bell Sauce. According to Taco Bell, these nuggets are made with marinated white chicken breast, and the marinade flavor used is Jalapeño buttermilk, which should bring a lightly spicy upgrade to the nuggets. Customers may choose to pair them with Jalapeño Honey Mustard or the new special Bell Sauce.

Taco Bell’s Dulce De Leche Cinnabon Delights
Taco Bell’s Dulce de Leche Cinnabon Delights are a twist on the restaurant’s current Cinnabon Delights. These desserts are scheduled for release at the end of the year but this may still change.

Taco Bell’s Churro Chiller Shakes
Taco Bell is testing four new Churro Chillers Shakes: Mexican Chocolate, Dulce de Leche Coffee, Wild Strawberry, and Sweet Vanilla. Each Churro Chiller has a flavorful swirl, a sweet shake blend, and cold foam and is sprinkled with churro pieces. These new dessert treats are still in the testing phase in Dallas, Texas, and Chicago, but we’re crossing our fingers for their nationwide launch, soon.
Taco Bell is also set to release their new Grilled Cheese Dipping Tacos, but its release date is yet to be determined.

Do you have a new Taco Bell favorite you’re already excited for? Well, hold your horses. These dates are still tentative and may change as the releases get closer.

From The Club
I’m just blown away by how Taco Bell is not running out of tricks, or rather, treats up their sleeves. It’s like they’ve got a new food item in test, or a new menu item added every month. Among this juicy lineup of releases, I’ve got my eyes fixated on the Nacho Fries. I haven’t tasted one before, but I got curious upon seeing the hype it got online. So you bet, I’ll be one of the first to get this when it launches on September 12th!
