Recently, SONIC offered new Groovy Fries for only $1 and the new Fun.99 Menu, both offering delicious menu items for an inexpensive price, a signature move that propelled Sonic as one of US’ top fast food brands. Before July ends, Sonic proves its customer-centric commitment by introducing another game-changing menu item without breaking the bank.
Starting today, July 29th, SONIC is introducing a new cheeseburger: the SONIC Smasher. This tasty burger is hand-smashed to order and offers a delicious taste at an affordable price. The SONIC Smasher features two Angus patties seasoned and seared for a crispy outer layer and juicy center, topped with two slices of American cheese, SONIC’s signature Smasher sauce, crinkle-cut pickles, and diced onions on a soft potato bun.
The SONIC Smasher starts at $6.49, and the SONIC Triple Smasher is available for $7.49 for those with bigger appetites. These two new offerings are exclusively available through the SONIC App starting today, July 29, with nationwide availability after August 5, 2024.

And there was no limit on which size fans can pick for the deal, which means some got a large size Groovy Fries for only a dollar.
SONIC’s Fun.99 Menu
Introduced on July 3, SONIC’s Fun.99 Menu includes a wide variety of SONIC favorites and two new wrap releases for only $1.99. During its release, SONIC offers Quarter Pounder Double Cheeseburger, Chili Cheese Coney Hotdog, Tater Tots, and any of the 12 Sonic Shake Flavors, as choices of the deal. And since July 12, SONIC also added their all-new Queso wraps, Bacon Ranch Queso Wrap and Southwest Crunch Queso Wrap, to the Fun.99 Menu.

I thought I’d be full of burger choices this summer, but SONIC comes through with their new SONIC Smasher, and as a burger lover myself, I must say that SONIC got my attention. You can easily say I’m sold, because when I saw that “two Angus beef patties”, I already got excited. Now I have to reschedule my plans for the weekend and make sure I can drop by my nearest SONIC and grab that Smasher and pair it up with SONIC’s Rainbow Slush.
