Starbucks joins the holiday celebrations with returning classic sips, new seasonal bites, and ‘cran-merry’ refreshers.
Counting the days till Christmas? Well, we’re over a month away from this merry event but Thanksgiving is much closer and will be here in 21 days. So what does this have to do with Starbucks, you ask? To put it into perspective, you have less than two months to try all the latest (and of course, the returning classics) from the brand’s highly anticipated holiday menu. Remember, the holidays can go by so fast, what with all the shopping, baking, and sleighing on snow and ice! So prepare yourself because Starbucks holiday menu lineup is quite expansive and looks more festive than ever. 🎁
Starting today, November 7, you can witness Starbucks’ holiday menu in its full glory. The coffee company has rolled out the holiday cups for the return of fan-favorites and a trio of new refreshers. To taste the complete holiday magic, don’t forget to grab some holiday pastries and much-loved seasonal coffee blends. Here’s a complete list of items you’re going to find on Starbucks’ Holiday Menu for 2024:
The Holiday Icons

- Peppermint Mocha: Probably the most iconic holiday drink from Starbucks is here again to deliver the brand’s signature espresso, made festive with mocha sauce, peppermint-flavored syrup, steamed milk, whipped topping, and dark chocolate curls. Fun fact: this drink has been around for 20 years or so!
- Caramel Brulée Latte: Enjoy the caramelly goodness from this espresso-based drink, featuring a combination of steamed milk, caramel brulée sauce as well as whipped cream and caramel brulée bits for topping.
- Chestnut Praline Latte: For this drink, Starbucks’ signature espresso gets infused with flavors from caramelized chestnuts. Steamed milk, spices, whipped cream, and spiced praline crumbs complete this comforting beverage.
- Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte: For sugar cookie lovers, this one’s for you. This drink is made with Starbucks’ Blonde Espresso, which is basically a subtly sweet light roast. It’s then combined with almondmilk and finished with green and red sprinkles.
- Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai: This creamy drink features a harmonious blend of oatmilk, warm chai spices, and ice. It gets even better with the non-dairy gingerbread cold foam and spice topping!
A couple of reminders when you get these drinks: Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, and Chestnut Praline Latte can be ordered hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino blended beverage. Meanwhile, the Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte is only available as iced and Frappuccino drink.
New Seasonal Sips

- Cran-Merry Orange Refresher: Taste the sweetness of the season with this new holiday drink featuring the flavors of cranberry, orange, and warm spices. But that’s not all…because this drink shaken with ice, real cranberries, and water is also infused with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. It’s definitely Christmas in a cup!
- Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher: Meanwhile, this variation mixes the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher with lemonade. Of course, you get real cranberries, too.
- Cran-Merry Drink: Looking for a creamy twist? This might be it! Just imagine the Cran-Merry Refresher but with coconutmilk, poured over ice, and mixed with real cranberries.
According to Starbucks, all their Refreshers, including these holiday exclusives, are infused with green coffee extract from unroasted Arabica beans, making them a great alternative to your regular coffee orders.
Holiday Foams

And speaking of your favorite Starbucks coffee…there’s actually a way for you to turn it into a Christmassy drink! Introducing: Starbucks’ Holiday Foams. They perfectly complement your Cold Brew or Iced Coffee, and they can be made non-dairy upon request. But, of course, customizing your drink with any of these foams comes at an extra charge:
- Gingerbread Cream Cold Foam (NEW): Starbucks’ vanilla sweet cream gets a light spice with the addition of gingerbread flavors.
- Peppermint Chocolate Cream Cold Foam: A top-tier combination, chocolate malt powder and peppermint-flavored syrup, gets blended with vanilla sweet cream.
- Sugar Cookie Cream Cold Foam: Just when you thought Starbucks’ signature vanilla sweet cream couldn’t get any sweeter, they blend it with the classic sugar cookie-flavored syrup.
- Caramel Brulée Cream Cold Foam: A rich and creamy option, this cold foam features caramel brulée sauce. Not available in non-dairy variation.
- Chestnut Praline Cream Cold Foam: Find hints of spices and caramelized chestnuts from this festive cold foam option.

New and Returning Holiday Pastries

What better way to enjoy holiday sips than with holiday pastries from Starbucks? The first four items are newcomers, while the rest are returning fan-favorites:
- Penguin Cookie: Two words: adorable and buttery. This is a shortbread cookie with a design of penguin with earmuffs on top.
- Snowman Cake Pop: Do you wanna…eat a snowman? You very well could with this vanilla cake mix with buttercream, covered in chocolate icing.
- Dark Toffee Bundt: This personal-sized bundt cake has deep toffee flavors and red and green sprinkles on top.
- Turkey Sage Danish: Yay for savory! A bite from this pastry will give you a heavenly combination of turkey sausage and bechamel sauce.
- Cranberry Bliss Bar: If you can handle more cranberry flavors, get this blondie cake with sweet and zesty ingredients like dried cranberries, cream-cheese icing, and orange zest.
- Sugar Plum Cheese Danish: This fluffy pastry is packed with cream-cheese filling and topped with spiced sugar-plum spread.
Seasonal Coffee Blends

This holiday season, Starbucks is also offering three exclusive seasonal coffee blends, available from November through December. Each blend offers a unique flavor profile and evokes the essence of the season: sweet, toasty, and blissful.
- Thanksgiving Blend: This blend features beans from Sidama in Ethiopia, Sumatra in Indonesia, and Guatemala’s Antigua region, roasted to create cups of aromatic and flavorful coffee. It also comes with flavor notes from sage, candied pecan, and dried fig. This blend will be featured as Starbucks’ dark roast brewed coffee for the Thanksgiving week at participating stores in the US.
- Christmas Blend: Returning for the 40th year, the Christmas Blend never fails to comfort coffee drinkers with its artistic blend of beans from Latin America and Indonesia. It also comes in Blonde Roast variation, wherein the coffee is smooth, lightly roasted, and aromatic. These blends will be featured as dark and light brewed coffee options in participating locations.
- Holiday Blend: Finally, the Holiday Blend combines beans from Latin American with the rich Sumatran coffee. The result is a vibrant coffee with hints of herbal taste and sweet maple. A perfect companion to the Cranberry Bliss Bars!

From the Club
Now, this is the holiday menu I’ve been waiting for! Don’t get me wrong, Dunkin’ and Tim Hortons got some exciting new sips and treats, but there’s nothing like the Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks because it’s a drink that actually feels like home. 😌 Not a super fan of their Refreshers, but the Cran-Merry Drink is something that I would get if I want that extra creaminess. Also, it’s been a family tradition to get Starbucks‘ Christmas Blend, so we’re definitely buying that again this year!
