Subway’s new meal is also fit for a Sandler superfan!
Adam Sandler fans, this one’s for you! Subway is celebrating Happy Gilmore 2 with a new meal that’s anything but ordinary. It’s not just serving something fresh, but also bringing laughs and the merch. The new meal comes with big flavor and big collectible energy, which is a win for both your taste buds and collector shelf!
The long-awaited follow-up to the classic sports comedy Happy Gilmore is coming to Netflix on July 25th. The best part? It’s coming with a side of Subway meal! That’s right, Subway and Netflix teamed up to release “The Happy Gilmore Meal” and it features a custom bag and four retro-looking collectible cups.
According to in-the-know foodies, the latest Subway meal is expected to drop nationwide on July 10th. To get “The Happy Gilmore Meal,” which includes one collector’s cup and a custom bag, you just need to upgrade any fresh value meal or Meal of the Day for just $1 more. The collectible cups feature memorable characters in the movie, like Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) and Happy’s main rival, Shooter McGavin.
What’s in Subway’s Meal of the Day?
Early this year, Subway introduced the new Meal of the Day, allowing you to enjoy a freshly prepared meal, seven days a week, at a great price. You can order the Meal of the Day as a six-inch sub or a footlong. The former costs $6.99 while the latter is priced at $9.99. The meal also includes a choice of two cookies or big chips and a small fountain drink. Every day also features a different fan-favorite sub:
- Monday – Cold Cut Combo®
- Tuesday – All-Pro Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki®
- Wednesday – Meatball Marinara
- Thursday – All-New Baja Chipotle Chicken
- Friday – Tuna
- Saturday – The Ultimate B.M.T.®
- Sunday – The Philly
Also new on the menu are two subs that are serving up serious sweet heat. Released last April 2025, these two new sandwiches take the hot honey trend to the next level, combining sweet honey with cayenne and habanero pepper powder and other flavorful spices. Here are the new subs available for a limited time only:
- Hot Honey Pepperoni – This features pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, red onions, and tomatoes on toasty Artisan Italian bread, and then drizzled with the swicy hot honey sauce.
- Hot Honey Chicken – This layers rotisserie-style chicken with melty Monterey Cheddar on Artisan Italian bread, topped with tomatoes, lettuce, and red onions. The sub also features a combination of Creamy Sriracha and Hot Honey Sauce, plus the SubKrunch™ on top, which is a savory and crispy topping only found at Subway.

Subway’s new Doritos Footlong Nachos is always freshly made, starting with the Doritos Nacho Cheese flavored chips, layered with shredded Monterey Cheddar cheese and Cheddar cheese sauce. The snack is also piled with diced tomatoes, spicy jalapeno slices, red onions, and then finished with Baja Chipotle sauce. Make it more loaded by adding rotisserie-style chicken or steak (no extra charge) or a scoop of smashed avocado (with additional cost).
