Once again, Taco Bell is on a roll and introduces a bold new menu item, combining two of our favorites.
Taco Bell is not one to back down from introducing new food items to spoil their customers. Some products were even teased at their previous Live Mas Event, but we still feel like we’re on a ride with how frequently Taco Bell is unveiling new items. And no matter the season, the fast food giant is keeping things exciting by regularly introducing new menu items. With fresh flavors and delicious twists up their sleeves, you can be assured always something new you could try at Taco Bell.
Just before summer ends, Taco Bell has introduced another exciting menu item, the Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupa, which is currently being tested in Houston. It follows the arrival of the Cheesy Street Chalupa and Crunchwrap Sliders, which Taco Bell also introduced as their summer highlights.

The new Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupa combines the fan-favorite chalupa with a twist similar to Mexican street tacos. But, its chalupa shells are smaller and are toasted with Cheddar cheese for an extra crunch. Customers can choose between slow-roasted Cantina Chicken or grilled steak as the protein. Then, each chalupa is topped with fresh cilantro, onions, shredded cheese, and a flavorful Chile Lime Crema Sauce.
You can get the Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupas between a price points of $4.99 and $5.99, which may vary depending on the Taco Bell location. Guests should note that this item is being tested only in Houston, but we are hopeful it will soon be available nationwide.

From The Club
Taco Bell really is not backing off the flavor innovation game, and let’s face it, with new tricks up their sleeves, they may not be backing off at all. I still remember the release of the Cheesy Street Chalupa, and now, they’re taking it up another notch with the Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupa test. Cheese is one of my guilty pleasures, so Taco Bell can count on me to try this one out as soon as it gets a nationwide release.
