Fast food connoisseurs, there are new hacks that you can try at Chick-fil-A, thanks to their limited-time items on offer!
What was your reaction when Chick-fil-A said it doesn’t have a secret menu last year? True fast food enthusiast felt down for a while but it didn’t stop them from creating their own not-so-secret menu items. Remember those who swapped the original filet of Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich for a spicy patty? They’re rejoicing now because the sandwich made a return with an official spicy variation. Lots of good things can come out from experimenting with Chick-fil-A menu items. The brand knows this too, that’s why they encourage diners to their limited-time offers and modify the classics for a whole new Chick-fil-A experience.

Chick-fil-A’s exclusive menu items are still up for grabs for those who want to try new flavor fusions. As mentioned, the fan-favorite Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich is back. The best part? You can choose to have a spicy or grilled fillet when you order via the Chick-fil-A app. For cheese lovers, the pimento cheese is now available as a separate side dish. It can be enjoyed a la carte or as part of a catering order.
Another classic item that made a return is the Banana Pudding Milkshake. Nothing beats the original flavor, but you can also get it as a Frosted Coffee. However, if you really love the shake’s texture and want to put a new twist to it…there are two hacks you can try. Kindly request in-store to have your shake mixed with strawberries. This will turn it into a Strawberry Banana Shake. Want something chocolatey? You can also add Hershey’s chocolate syrup to create a Chocolate Covered Banana Milkshake.
Menu hacks are everywhere if you take a closer look at fast food chains. Brands like Chick-fil-A continue to attract diners because their menu items are flexible enough to be combined. For more fast food news and roundups of menu hacks, check out our recently published articles.
Customizing Your Chick-fil-A Orders
In June 2023, Chick-fil-A made a move to offer provide you with greater order customization. On the Chick-fil-A app, there are tap-t0-add and tap-to-remove features to select all the ingredients you want in your meals. According to the restaurant, these updates will give customers more options to tailor their food choices. Just a note though that add-on ingredients may vary by location. To be sure on what’s available, check the app or contact your local restaurant.

On the loyalty front, Chick-fil-A also made revisions to their rewards program called Chick-fil-A One. While some items now cost more to redeem, members can access new options at the rewards store. They can now also redeem entire meals, a decision made by the brand to offer more value to loyal customers.
Modifying orders and redeeming exciting rewards all start with creating a Chick-fil-A account (if you don’t have it yet). You can do it by downloading the app or visiting Chick-fil-A One’s webpage. If you create an account with Google, you’re automatically verified, which means you can already start ordering and receiving points and other benefits.

More Chick-fil-A Menu Hacks to Try
A well-designed menu like the one at Chick-fil-A will entice you to try something new and different. If you’re someone who loves putting a spin on seemingly ordinary menu items, you’re sure to have fun at Chick-fil-A. When the limited-items are no longer available, here are other hacks you can try to level up your dining experience.
Icedream Sandwich
Who doesn’t love Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream dessert? You can fall in love with it twice if you order this item in a quite different way. Start by getting a cup of Icedream and then order two Chocolate Chunk cookies. The next step is to create your own dessert, which is so simple by the way. Just sandwich the Icedream dessert between the two cookies and you’re done! Such a great treat to have after finishing a savory or spicy sandwich.
Icedream Fruit Cup
This next item proves just how versatile the vanilla Icedream is. Try it with a side of fruit cup and you’ll enjoy a healthier sweet treat. Similar to the Icedream sandwich, this menu hack is impossible to mess up. All you need to do is order the Icedream cup and fruit cup. Make your own refreshing sundae by placing the fruits on top of the Icedream cup.
Chick-fil-A’s fruit cup contains chopped red and green apples, blueberries, slices of strawberry, and segments of mandarin orange. Its newer version reportedly has pineapple and red grapes. It’s actually a summery treat that you can have all year long.

Chicken Mac & Cheese with Buffalo Sauce
Your Chick-fil-A experience is about to heat up with this menu hack. Fair warning: this requires some work but nothing you can’t handle. At the counter, order nuggets (or a grilled version if you like), mac & cheese, ranch sauce, and buffalo sauce. Chop up the nuggets and place them into the mac & cheese container along with other ingredients. This should give a richer and creamier texture to your mac & cheese and offer that medium-level heat from the buffalo sauce.
Another related hack is called “bowl.” It requires you to add nuggets, a small portion of mac & cheese, and fries into a salad bowl. Add flavorful sauces like the Garden Herb Ranch and Honey BBQ, mix it all, and enjoy!

From The Club
Right now, it’s looking like Chick-fil-A has the most flexible menu out there. Despite the brand saying it has no secret menu, it is subtly supporting and nudging diners to create their own meals. I have yet to try the pimento cheese dip and I’m actually thinking of ways to use it with other core menu items. I must say that the Banana Pudding Milkshake is also living in my head rent-free…can’t wait to try the strawberry and chocolate versions!
