1. McDonald’s Apple Pie McFlurry

Taking the number one spot is a timely dessert for autumn season. Even though McDonald’s already released its fall-themed menu, there’s no stopping you from building your own cozy dessert. Fun fact: McDonald’s Australia actually released the Apple Pie McFlurry in 2018 for a limited time. So why not recreate it and enjoy the fall flavors yourself? Just a reminder that availability of all ingredients might be limited in some locations.
How to order: If the McDonald’s employee doesn’t seem game to build this treat for you, prepare to do it yourself. Start by ordering a McFlurry with caramel sauce on top and one or two Apple pies (depending on your taste). Some use the Hot Caramel Sundae as an alternative. Ask your server to cut up the pies and put the chunks into the soft serve. If the server refuses, just wait for the pies to cool down and do the mixing with a fork.
From The Club
So many unique desserts to try in different fast food chains! This makes my heart (and sweet tooth) really happy. The McDonald’s Apple Pie McFlurry is on another level. It’s not too simple or too complex to make but it packs unique flavors. Adding the chunks of pie to the sundae is actually genius because I never liked my pie hot lol! I have to say though that the Icedream sandwich is a personal favorite. I just love the combination of textures coming from the cookies and the vanilla swirl. I wish Chick-fil-A would release more sweet menu items for mixing and matching! By the way, if you’re going to try any of the hacks above, here’s another reminder that availability of ingredients may vary by location. I hope you find one that has everything you need for your sweet treat!
