What will you do if you find a cockroach in your burger? That’s what happened to Brian Garmon at a Burger King in Panama City, Florida. He sat down to eat his burger, and when he was about to take another bite, right next to his mouth, there was a roach.

Garmon said: I took pictures and then told the manager so that they don’t do it to other people. The manager said sorry, gave him a free meal, and refunded him 8$. The restaurant promised to fix things, but he did not think they were serious enough and was not happy about it.

Pizza Hut said no. They claimed the bandage and the dough did not match their stuff.

Following a disappointing phone call to the McDonald’s she bought that meal from, which only responded by offering her money back or granting a box of free wings, she contacted an attorney and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Nobody could determine if it was a genuine mistake, a joke by a worker at McDonald’s or a prank. In any case, this “McNasty moment” created a buzz.

After that, Kailynn didn’t keep quiet; she had talked about it on the news and contacted Taco Bell. What did they decide? They offered Kailynn $40 in gift cards to return and order more nachos, presumably without any additional fingernails. Kailynn turned down the offer. She has decided that Taco Bell is no longer a place for her.

Suburban Philadelphia’s Ellen Manfalouti had one of those lunch stories you’ll find hard to believe when she found a dead rodent in her chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A. As she turned the top of the bun over, she first thought it was burnt, but the small rodent was visible. Her coworker, Cara Phelan, quickly identified it, including its whiskers and tail. Ellen then threw the sandwich. After Chick-fil-A didn’t respond to her complaints, she sued them for over $50,000.

Biting into a Snickers and finding a rat’s tooth? That was Payton Davis’s experience in November 2021. When she ate the Snickers purchased from a Family Dollar store, Payton thought the front of her tooth broke and chipped because she bit on a hard nut. Instead, she had actually bit on a tooth, which cut her mouth and took her to see a dentist.

Upon examination, the dentist told her that it was not from a human—which likely belonged to a rodent. Payton reached Snickers, and they realized that they should fix the issue. They sent her some coupons, but really, coupons of the same product after a tooth is found in your candy? Payton and her lawyer, D.J. Gregory, considered all available legal alternatives because that was legitimately terrifying.

1. Lung Inside a KFC Chicken

Lung inside KFC chicken

In February 2016, an Australian KFC customer discovered an unusual find in their three-piece chicken meal: an animal organ that resembled the lung! Here is how Business Insider reported the story: KFC also responded that it was only “a little of waste” and that some of the animal organs were left in the meat by accident. As KFC later explained, their chicken is inspected and prepared by hand in their restaurants.

However, they admitted that leaving the giblets “inside” during frying is occasionally overlooked. As they said, the body parts are edible but look rather undesirable.
