Wienerschnitzel may not officially release a summer menu this year, but they are keeping up with the heat by releasing new desserts and refreshments that still have the iconic Southern taste.

Make way, chocolate sundaes, Wienerschnitzel has introduced two new Southern Pie Sundaes: Peach and Strawberry. These sundaes are now available at Wienerschnitzel locations with their fresh, fruity flavors combined with classic pie elements.
More Southern Summer Treats
Aside from delicious and sweet Southern Pie Sundaes, Wienerschnitzel also releases its own refreshing take on Lemonades. The brand is introducing Southern Lemonades as part of its beverage lineup this summer. These new lemonades can be our new summer favorites this year:
- Cucumber Southern Lemonade: 290 calories in 20 oz.
- Strawberry Southern Lemonade: 310 calories in 20 oz.
- Peach Southern Lemonade: 290 calories in 20 oz.
- Mango Southern Lemonade: 290 calories in 20 oz.

Wienerschnitzel’s Secret Fanta Ice Cream Dip
Earlier this year, Wienerschnitzel released a sweet Fanta-inspired treat for fans– enjoy a Fanta dipped ice cream cone, a bubbly ice cream float, or a creamy Fanta shake. These new additions combined creamy vanilla ice cream from Wienerschnitzel with a burst of Fanta orange flavor, offering a cool orange-y twist to their dessert options. Though it was only available for a limited time, the Secret Fanta Ice Cream Dip was way ahead of any of its competition.
Wienerschnitzel’s Cheese Fries & Chili Burrito
The Chili Cheese Fries Burrito made a comeback at Wienerschnitzel and its sister brand, the Hamburger Stand last April. This fan favorite menu item includes crispy French fries, Wienerschnitzel’s special chili, and melted cheddar cheese, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. There was a Bacon Ranch Chili Cheese Fries Burrito version that came with extra ranch dressing and bits of crunchy bacon. No chicken meat or any other sauces in Burrito this time!
Wienerschnitzel’s New Mac ‘N Cheese Hot Dogs and Burgers
Last May, Wienerschnitzel and its sister company, Hamburger Stand, brought back their Mac ‘N Cheese dishes, they’ve added them to some of their favorite foods. For a short time, fans have enjoyed Mac ‘N Cheese on its own in three types: Classic Mac, Chili Cheese Mac, and the new BBQ Bacon Mac.

Summer is my favorite season, not because of the weather and out-of-town trips, but because of new desserts and menu items I’d get to taste. Honestly, I love it when fast food chains launch new desserts and drinks and as a sweet tooth, I dub summer the season of all things sweet. Thanks to Wienerschnitzel, I’d get to enjoy southern flavors in my sundae and even lemonade, and will surely be a perfect pair to my go-to Wienerschnitzel Texas BBQ Dog.
