Probably one of our go-to morning stops is Dunkin’ to grab some fresh pastry and drinks. But over the years, we’ve seen the rise and fall of some of our favorite menu items. Sadly, some of them didn’t make it to the permanent menu. Today, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to bring you the 13 Dunkin’ treats from the past that we miss.
13. Everything Bagel Minis

When you need something portable, these Everything Bagel Minis were the way to go. They’re stuffed with a generous amount of plain cream cheese and topped with the iconic everything bagel seasoning. Yup, these aromatic delights have sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, and onions.
12. Strawberry Popping Bubbles

Remember when boba was the hottest food trend on social media? Dukin’ joined the wave with the Strawberry Popping Bubbles. They’re a sweet, refreshing addition to any iced or frozen drink, bursting with strawberry flavor. These bubbles were introduced in summer 2021 as a seasonal item, but eventually departed after summer ended.
11. Croissant Donut

The cronut craze was once a hit that swept the nation. Dunkin’ jumped the bandwagon with their version of the Croissant Donut. It features a hybrid pastry that combines the flaky, buttery layers of a French croissant with the sweet, glazed texture of an American donut. Sadly, like many good things in life, the Croissant Donut flew off the menu, leaving a croissant-shaped hole in our hearts.
10. Apple Cranberry Refresher

The Apple Cranberry Refresher is an autumn cup that fans are still mourning the loss of years later. It features a refreshing boost of cranberry with the crisp apples. Reddit users rank them as “the best flavor by far” among all of the discontinued Refreshers. Instead, Dunkin’ replaced them with less popular flavors, leaving fans scratching their heads.
9. Ghost Pepper Donut

The Ghost Pepper Donut was one of Dunkin’s innovative creations, offered during Halloween 2020. It features one of the world’s hottest chili peppers, accompanied by strawberry-flavored icing and red sanding sugar. Since they were a limited-time release, they sold out quickly at Dunkin’, leaving a spicy void in our hearts.
8. Pink Velvet Macchiato

The Pink Velvet Macchiato was released as a Valentine’s Day special. The drink features a vibrant pink hue with layers of espresso and steamed milk. It has a flavor profile reminiscent of red velvet cake, with notes of cream cheese frosting. Sadly, they’re only a seasonal offering anticipated every February.
7. Arnold Palmer Coolatta

The Arnold Palmer Coolatta was a combination of two classic drinks: Iced tea and lemonade. It was named after the golf legend himself and was introduced as a frozen treat in the summer of 2014. A Change.org petition was arranged, becoming a fan favorite, demanding its return. Some fans took to social media to declare it “the greatest beverage of all time.”
6. Oreo Cookie Coolatta

The Oreo Cookie Coolatta features a frozen beverage base mixed with chocolatey cookie crumbles. Their mixed in a vanilla-flavored frozen drink and made into a thick shake. However, the beverage was discontinued in 2017 when Dunkin’ reportedly deemed it not up to standard. Fans took to the defense and petitioned for its return on the menu.
5. Pancake Minis

Even your favorite breakfast of pancake came in a bite-sized form. These Pancake Minis feature miniature pancakes filled with sweet, maple-flavored bits that burst with every bite. Dunkin’ offered them as a traditional breakfast without the mess. Unfortunately, it was removed from the menu shortly after.
4. Donut Fries

The Donut Fries feature a hybrid combo between donuts and French fries. It’s made from buttery croissant-style dough and fried into strips. They were also tossed in cinnamon sugar and served in a cardboard container like actual fries. They were launched in 2018 in Massachusetts, but disappeared soon enough.
3. Green Goddess Wrap

The Green Goddess Wrap was a vegetarian-friendly option that features a vibrant green tortilla wrap. The contents include fluffy egg whites, feta cheese, and a herb-packed green goddess dressing. It was launched in May 2024 as a spring and summer offering made for health-conscious customers. It disappeared after a few months, leaving fans devastated.
2. Peanut Butter Cup Macchiato

This Peanut Butter Cup Macchiato combines everyone’s favorite chocolate peanut butter candy in a liquid form. It features a rich espresso layered with creamy milk and notes of chocolate and peanut butter. It was introduced as part of the 2021 Halloween menu and made a sweet return in 2022. However, it mysteriously disappeared, with fans believing it should be a permanent menu item.
1. Dunkaccino

The Dunkaccino was a comfort drink that defined an entire generation’s relationship with Dunkin’. It was a blend of rich coffee and creamy hot chocolate that had been on the menu for 23 years before it was quietly removed. It was introduced in 2000 it achieved pop culture status thanks to Al Pacino’s parody commercial.
